Notes  Jacob Sherk, "was born August 18th, 1795. He was married to Hannah Bechtel (No. 753). They resided on the farm now in possession of Noah Betzner on the west side of the Grand River, near Breslau. Here he died of cholera, August 6th, 1834. His family consisted of eleven children, viz:"
