Notes  Rev. Elias Eby, "was born May 4th 1850. He was converted in his early days. In March, 1870, he joined the Evangelical Church, and entered the ministry in 1876. He was the first stationed on the Sebringville (Ontario) Circuit where he remained seven months, and the remainder of the year he was stationed on the Bentinck (Ontario) Mission. In 1877 he was stationed on the Middleton Mission, and during 1878-79 he was a local. In 1880 he was again stationed on the Sebringville Circuit, and during the years 1881-82 he labored on the Maitland Mission. During the years 1883-85 he was stationed on the Pembroke Mission, and during the years 1886-87 on the Niagara Mission. In the spring of 1888 the conference placed him on the Morriston Mission. From here he was placed on the Carrick field of labor, and in April 1895, he was stationed on the Dashwood field of labor where he is now working. So far he has proved successful in the ministry. May he still continue doing work for our Lord. On April 22nd, 1879, he was married to Margaret Bender who was born February 17th, 1851. He has a family of four children, namely: Sibylla, born May 30th, 1880; Edwin, born August 19th, 1881; Laurinda, born April 20th, 1884; and Oscar, born June 14th, 1886."
