Notes  Martin Eby, "the fifth son of George Eby and his wife, Barbara Wenger, was born August 4th, 1807. On March 3rd, 1832, he was married to Catharine Weber who was born April 28th, 1811, and died December 2nd, 1890. He died June 13, 1891. They had a family of fourteen children, three of whom died soon after their birth, consequently having no names given to them, and one named Philip lived to be two months and a few days old. Ten of the family are still living, viz:"
