Notes  David Geiger, "the eldest, was born in Germany, March 17th, 1796. He was first married to Elizabeth Ludebihl. They resided near Wilmot Centre, Waterloo County, where she died. After her decease he was married to Barbara Steinacker. He died April 9th, 1870. His family consisted of eleven children, viz:"
