Notes  Samuel B. Betzner, "the eldest son, was born September 11th, 1805. On September 28th, 1828, he was married to Elizabeth, daughter of Samuel and Esther (Groh) Stauffer. She was born June 4th, 1810, and died February 25th, 1882. Shortly after their married they moved on the farm now possesses by their son Jacob, about two miles east of Breslau, where he died May 8th, 1879. Their family consisted of eight children, viz:"
