Notes  Jacob Schwartz, "was born January 1st, 1819. In 1841 he was married to Maria, daughter of Abraham and Catharine (Bergey) Honsberger. She was born June 13th, 1821. Soon after their marriage they moved on a farm about a mile west of the Manheim school house. The farm is now possessed by Mr. Jacob S. Hallman, reeve of Wilmot. Here Mr. Schwartz died April 22nd, 1861. The widow is still living and has her home with her daughter, Mary, who resides in Berlin. To Mr. and Mrs. Schwartz were born ten children, viz:"
