Notes  Christian Schwartz, "was born in Tonamencin Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, August 20th, 1784. He was married to Sophia Ruth who was born August 23rd, 1787, and died February 23rd 1880. During the early part of the present century they moved to Canada and settled in Waterloo County, near Preston, where they both died. He died May 12th, 1848. To them was born a family of eight children..."
