Notes  Daniel Rudy, "a native of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, was born December 4th, 1796. When a young man he came to Canada and settled near Doon, Waterloo County, where he was married to Barbara (No. 5388), daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth (Biehn) Rosenberger. She was born near Preston, Ontario, January 29th, 1804, and died January 30th, 1885. He died December 7th, 1857. To them were born eleven children, viz:..."
