Notes  Benjamin Brubacher, "was born April 24th, 1841. In 1867 he was married to Barbara, daughter of John and Mary (Wenger) Meyer. She was born May 12th 1849. After their marriage they moved two miles west of St. Jacobs, on the farm now owned by David M. Brubacher. Here they resided until his death which took place January 23rd, 1871. To them were born two sons, namely: Albert, who resides in Elkhart, Indiana, and Josephus who resides at Caledonia, Michigan."
