Notes  Jacob Brubacher, "the eldest son, was born April 9th, 1818. On February 11th, 1840, he was married to Mary Weber who was born December 10th, 1815, and died April 20th, 1888. After their marriage they moved near Bridgeport, Ontario, on the farm now possessed by Benjamin M. Eby, where they resided four years, then they moved three miles west of Berlin, on north central part of lot No. 35 where she died. Here he still resides with his youngest son. Their family consisted of four children, viz:"
