Notes  Daniel M. Brubacher, "the fifth son of John W. Brubacher, was born September 20th, 1840. He resides on his father's old farm about three miles west of St. Jacobs where he is engaged in farming. On August 12th, 1876, he was ordained to the ministry of the Mennonite body at the Conestogo Meeting House by Bishop Abraham Martin. He is a good man and a sincere worker for the Lord's cause and is highly esteemed by his congregation. He is married to Elizabeth, daughter of Louis and Barbara (Wanner) Beeshy. She was born December 24th, 1842. Their family consists of nine children.."
