Notes  Henry M. Brubacher, "the fourth son of John W. Brubacher, was born in Woolwich Township, July 8th, 1838. He is engaged in manufacturing woollen goods. He entered the woollen mills when quite a young man. His apprenticeship was served in the Hawksville Mills; from here he went to St. Jacobs, thence to Chicopee where he remained about eight years. Some sixteen years ago he sold the Chicopee Mills to Mr. Weber and purchased the Baden Mills where he has since carried on the manufacturing of woollen goods. On July 23rd, 1865, he was married to Margaretta, daughter of George and Magdalena (Wagner) Algeiger. She was born July 28th, 1840, and died April 15th, 1868. On September 7th, 1869, he was married to Magdalena Algeiger, sister to his deceased wife. She was born August 28th, 1849. He has a family of fourteen children, two with the first wife, viz:"
