Notes  John M. Brubacher, "the eldest son of John W. Brubacher, was born April 10th, 1828. He is a farmer and resides in Wellesley Township, near Wallenstein P.O. He was first married to Barbara B. Brubacher, and after her death to Barbara Steiner. With the first wife there were seven children, namely: Elizabeth, Jacob, Catharine (dead) Abraham (dead), Levi, Magdalena, and Veronica; and with second wife there are eight children, namely: Nancy, Mary, David, Barbara, Amos (dead), Henry, Benjamin, and Lydia."
