Hiram Martin, "was born February 10th, 1829. He is a carpenter and has his place of business on Weber Street, Berlin, where he is at present engaged in manufacturing washing machines for Reinhart Bros. On October 5th, 1851, he was married to Esther, daughter of Peter and Mary Ann (Clemens) Erb. She was born September 17th, 1834, and died at Elmira, March 31st, 1867. On November 12th, 1867, he was married to Mary Ann Erb, sister to his first wife. She was born September 21st, 1845, and died July 13th, 1870. On April 16th, 1871, he was again married to Salome, daughter of Peter and Susannah (Bear) Mosser. She was born August 31st, 1847. Mr. Martin had a family of five children, four with his first wife and one with his third wife, .." |
