Notes  Samuel Cressman, "the second son of Abraham and Mary (Schneider) Cressman, was born near Strasburg, Waterloo County, March 30th, 1817. On April 13th, 1841, he was married to Barbara Cressman who was born near Breslau, Ontario, July 8th, 1823. They resided in Wilmot Township, near New Dundee, where he is engaged in farming. His death took place January 5th, 1870. Their family consisted of thirteen children, viz:"
