Notes  John S. Snider, "was born November 12th, 1826. On October 7th, 1851, he was married to Elizabeth, daughter of Henry and Christina (Berket) Kraft. She was born October 15th, 1832. In fall of 1859 they moved to Elkhart County, Indiana, and from there, in 1864, to Chickasaw County, Iowa, near Bradford P. O., where he died October 15th, 1877. His family (No information in regard to his children's residence, trade, or to whom married) is as follows:"
