Notes  George Eby, "the eldest son of George Eby, was born in Pennsylvania, December 25th, 1798, and came to Canada with his parents in 1804. He was married to Elizabeth Nafcher who was born August 13th, 1800, and died July 23rd, 1881. When a young man he moved to Elkhart County, Indiana, where he followed farming. He died November 1st, 1886. They had a family as follows:"
