Notes  Jonas Eby, "the eldest son of Samuel Eby, was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, January 3rd, 1815. In October, 1838, he was married to Hannah Fessant, at Guelph, Ontario. He died in Kingsville, Ontario, in 1887, where his widow and eldest daughter still live. He had a family of seven children, viz:"
