Notes  Henry S. Snider, "was born November 1st, 1824. On December 23rd, 1851, he was married to Mary, daughter of Benjamin and Catharine (Saltzberger) Snyder. Soon after his marriage he moved to Woolwich Township, a few miles west of Elmira where he is the owner of a beautiful farm and where he still resides. His family consisted of eight children."
