Notes  George Eby, "the fifth son of Christian Eby and his wife, Elizabeth Mayer, was born December 11th, 1748, and died June 10th, 1800. He was married, September 17th, 1769, to Barbara Sensenig who was born in January, 1750, and died April 24th, 1787. They resided in Lancaster County, near Lititz, where they had a family of nine children, namely: Christian, Samuel, David, George, Joseph, Esther, Anna, Elizabeth, and Susannah. None of this family settled in Canada save Samuel and George. Their descendents are as follows, viz:"
