Notes  Jacob S. Snider, "was born January 25th, 1819. On March 26th, 1844, he was married to Magdalena, daughter of Jacob and Mary (Bowman) Schneider. She was born June 10th, 1822. Soon after their marriage they moved on his farm several miles north-east of Bloomingdale where they still reside. Mr. Snider has always taken an active part in all municipal matters pertaining to the township and has been councillor for several years. He was a good farmer but now lives retired...."
