Notes  Philip Bliehm, "was born in 1780 and was married in 1804 to Esther Bechtel, widow of Daniel Cressman with whom she had three children, namely: Elizabeth, wife of old Abraham Weber; Abraham, married to Mary Schneider; and Mary, married to old Henry Wismer. The widow was a daughter of Abraham Bechtel and was born in July, 1766. Philip Bliehm and his wife came to Canada in May, 1806, arriving at Blair a few days after the great fire had been extinguished. They settled in the vicinity of Doon. They had a family of four children, viz:"
