Notes  David Shantz, "was born July 10th, 1802. On January 8th, 1828, he was married to Sarah, daughter of Abraham and Veronica (Shantz) Biehn. She was born December 25th, 1811, and died June 6th, 1889. They resided in Plattsville, Oxford County, Ontario, where he died June 27th, 1873. To them was born a large family, viz:"
