Notes  Aaron Shantz, "the second son, was born March 3rd, 1851. On February 9th, 1874, he was married to Leah, daughter of Benjamin and Magdalena (Shantz) Snyder. She was born November 27th, 1850. After their marriage they moved on the farm they still occupy, the old 'Christian Martin Farm', about one-half mile from the Martin Mennonite Meeting House. They have a family of four children, viz:"
