Isaac B. Shantz, "was born near Berlin, Ontario, May 18th, 1827. On October 1st, 1850, he was married to Magdalena Latschaw who was born April 3rd, 1832, and died February 22nd, 1856. On December 12th, 1856, he was again married to Maria Shants who was born June 17th, 1827, and died December 23rd, 1885. At present Mr. Shantz resides in the town of Berlin where he is living retired. His family consisted of ten children, three of whom were born unto his first wife. Their names are as follows:" |
