Notes  Benjamin Weber," the third son of Benjamin and Veronica (Martin) Weber, was born in Earl Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, February 28th, 1813. He when a mere lad, came to this country with his parents in 1817, and was raised on the farm now possessed by Joseph S. Weber, his nephew, two miles north of the town of Waterloo. On March 1st, 1836, he was married to Anna, daughter of Isaac and Esther (Bechtel) Shantz. She was born August 11th, 1817. She has her home with her daughter, Anna (Mrs. N. Detweiler). After their marriage they moved on the west end of lot No. 113, German Company Tract, where they resided until his death which took place November 30th, 1870. Their family consisted of ten children..."
