Notes  Samuel Snyder was born in Franklin, County, Pennsylvania, April 29th, 1801. He was five years of age when his parents moved to Canada and settled at Doon, Ontario, where he was raised. In 1825 he was married to Mary Detweiler (No. 2274) who was born September 20th, 1806, and died July 4th, 1874. They resided in North Dumfries Township, Waterloo County, near Roseville, where he was engaged in farming for many years. He died May 15th, 1887. His family consisted of twelve children..."
