Notes  Rev. John K. Clemens, "was born at Port Elgin, Ontario, August 3rd, 1864. At the age of twenty-one years while in Preston, Ontario, he was converted unto the Lord, and shortly thereafter entered evangelistic work in connection with the late Rev. David Savage of Tilsonburg, Ontario. His work extended throughout the provinces of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. In 1889 he entered the regular ministry of the Methodist Episcopal Church and is at present (1895) stationed at Petrolia, Pennsylvania (Erie Conference). On January 27th, 1891, he was married to Minnie G. Buchanan, in the city of St. John, New Brunswick, where she was born December 28th, 1865. To them was born one son name VIII John Waldron, born in Petrolia, Pennsylvania, March 3rd, 1895."
