Notes  Henry Weber," generally known by his descendants as "Heiner," a native of Switzerland, was born about the year 1690. His father, Hannes" Weber, was a strict adherent of the Protestant faith. After the decease of his father, in 1821, Henry, with his brothers, Christian and John, emigrated to America. It is not known where they arrived but in all probability at Philadelphia as we find they settled in Earl Township, Lancaster County. It is not definitely known where Christian and John settled. One report in the hands of the writer states that they left many heirs. Of Henry there are numerous descendants. He was married to Anna Hershi. † They resided near Blue Ball. Their family consisted of several children. The names of three of the sons have been received, namely: II Christian, II George, and Henry."

† Now spelled Hershey.
