Notes  John Henry Clemens, "was born October 14th, 1850. He resides in the city of Brantford where he is engaged in building. He was first married to Eliza Fyle and after her decease to Agnes Smith. With first wife there were three children, namely: VIII George, VIII John, VIII Clarence who was drowned in the Grand River at Brantford when 10 years and 6 months old. No issue of second marriage."
