Notes  Abraham Clemens, "the second son of Abraham and Catharine Clemens, was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, December 31st, 1752. He received the old homestead with 180 acres of land which he retained in his possession until his death. In 1785 he made another purchase of 76 acres of land. This, together with the 180 acres which he received from his father, make him the owner of 256 acres of land. In 1778 he was married to Mary Steiner who was born in July, 1754, and died September 11th, 1823. He died September 15th, 1808. To them were born six children, namely:....."
