Notes  Amos Clemens, "the eighteenth and youngest son of George Clemens, was born January 12th 1835. After his marriage with Hannah Nickleburry he moved on a farm near Freeport where he resided for fifteen years. This farm he sold in 1870 and purchased the old 'Bechtel Farm' two and one-half miles south-west of Blair where he resided until 1893 when he moved to Whistlebare, near Blair, where he still resides. His wife died April 29th 1894. To them were born ten children, viz:"
