Notes  Stauffer Clemens, "was born January 1st, 1819. He resided on his father's old homestead for many years. He was married to Louisa Clemons who was born January 4th, 1821, and died October 30th, 1880. After the decease of his wife he made his home with his daughter who resided in Preston where he died August 29th, 1891. To them were born four children, viz:"
