Notes  Moses Clemens, "eldest son of Abraham and Elizabeth (Strohm) Clemens, was born April 22, 1825. On October 27, 1846, he was married to Elizabeth, daughter of John and Catharine (Shantz) Snyder. They resided in Waterloo County for many years, then moved to Blenheim P. O., Kent County, Where he died. To him were born twelve children, namely:"
