Notes  Peter Burkhard, "was born July 28th, 1812, and died December 22nd, 1869. He was married to Anna Gingerich and resided for a number of years on the "Lichty Farm" about one mile north of the town of Waterloo. He had one son named Joseph who is married to Elizabeth Reist and when last heard of him he was in Kent County, Michigan. She resides two miles south of Elmira."
