Notes  David Break, "was born August 10th, 1820. On February 6th, 1844, he was married to Mary Break who was born June 7th, 1825, and died October 31st, 1881. After their marriage they moved home on his father's farm which he purchased in later years. Here they resided until their death. He died January 18th, 1892. Their family consisted of eight children, viz:"
