Notes  Peter S. Martin, "the fourth son, was born March 6th, 1834. He was married to Susannah, daughter of John and Anna (Burkhard) Gingerich. They resided on his father's farm, near St. Jacobs, where he died October 19th, 1863. They had a family of three children, namely: Noah, Annie, and Jesse who was married to Marietta M. Wahl and resides in Bridgeport. They have a family of one child, a daughter."
