Notes  Absalom Snyder, "was born May 23rd, 1817. on February 2nd, 1841, he was married to Mary, daughter of Jacob and Judith (Baumann) Bricker. She was born May 7th, 1823, and died May 17th, 1891. After his marriage he moved near Fisher's Mills south of Kossuth, on the farm now in possession of his youngest son, Abraham, where he is still residing and enjoying life. He is a very active and well posted man for his age. His family consisted of fifteen children, viz:"
