Notes  Sallie Bechtel "the seventh and youngest daughter of old George Bechtel was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, January 24th, 1795, and came to Canada with her parents in 1801. She was married to George Reynolds who was born September 16th, 1794, and died December 26th, 1866. they resided in Wilmot Township, several miles from New Dundee, where he was engaged in farming. In their old age they moved to Washington, Oxford County, where they both died. She died July 24th, 1873. They had a family of seven children, namely: VI Nancy (dead), was married to J. Hilborn; VI Aaron, married to Magdalena Latschaw, resides at Lake View, Kent County, Michigan; VI Moses, died young; VI John, died in the Union Army during the civil was of the United States; VI Eliza, married to Abraham Stauffer; VI Alfred, died young; and Vi Nelson.
