Jacob Bechtel "the sixth member of Jacob and Elizabeth (Gabel) Bechtel's family, was married to Polly Hallman. They resided in North Dumfries Township, near the old "Black Horse" Hotel, where he died. After his death she made her home with her daughter, Catharine, who was married to Benjamin Snyder, where she died a good many years ago. They had a family of fourteen children,..." |
