Notes  Isaac H. Moyer, "son of Samuel B. and Magdalena (Houser) Moyer, was born in Clinton Township, Lincoln County, Ontario, near Jordan, March 10th, 1836. In November 1859, he left his parental home and came to Waterloo where he engaged himself to Amos Schwartz to learn the painting business which he followed many years. On February 11th, 1862, he was married to Esther, daughter of Benjamin and Nancy (Shantz) Weber. They resided in the town of Waterloo until October, 1875, when they moved near Bloomingdale where he follows farming and raising fruit and vegetables for the market. On April 7th, 1886, his wife died, leaving a family of six children. On October 3rd, 1886, he was again married to Sarah, daughter of Jacob E. and Elizabeth (Clemens) Schneider. She was born June 1st, 1845. The names of Mr. Moyer's family are as follows:"
