Christian Moyer, "the second son of the last named family, was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in 1755, and was married to Mary Freed. He inherited the old homestead with buildings and improvements together with 100 acres of land. This he sold after possessing it for five years and moved to Springfield, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he died, leaving a family of several children. Jacob Moyer, brother to Christian (b. 1728) was born January 28th, 1730, was married and had a family of several children, one of whom was named Christian." |
