Notes  John Wismer, "was born in Chester County, Pennsylvania, April 2nd, 1799. He was married, in 1822, to Susannah Cressman who was born in 1801. The resided near Blair where he was engaged in farming. He died July 23rd, 1890, and she died in September, 1838. Their family consisted of nine children, viz:"
