Notes  Henry Wanner, "the first by this name who settled in Waterloo County, was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, May 12th, 1749. In 1774 he was married to Anna Mosser who was born February 8th, 1748. In spring, 1810, they moved to Canada and settled in Waterloo County, near Hespeler, on the farm now in possession of John W. Martin. Here they resided until their death. He died February 12th, 1835, and she died May 8th, 1823. Their family consisted of eight children, all born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Their names are as follows:"
