Notes  Abraham Latschaw "was born November 16th, 1799. He was married to Catharine Baumann who was born in July, 1802, and died in 1843. See Nos. 57 and 360. She died while they resided in the town of Waterloo. After her death he had his home in New Hamburg. He was a carpenter and cabinet maker by trade and many an old clock case is to be found in this county that was made by "Abe" Latschaw. He died near Doon where he was working at the time, November 12th, 1870. His family consisted of four children, viz:"
