Notes  Mary Ann Kolb, "was born March 22nd, 1848. She was first married, December 25th, 1872, to Abram H. Jacobs who was born May 16th, 1850, and died October 27th, 1879. On November 14th, 1882, she was again married to John Hoffman, a farmer. They reside about one and a half miles east of Berlin. Her family consists of five children, namely: Oscar, born May 5th, 1874, Wellington, born March 16th, 1876, and Dora, born June 19th, 1878, of first husband, and Ervine May and Ada Almeda of second husband.
