Abigail Bechtel "the eldest daughter of George B. and Mary (Shoemaker) Bechtel, was born near Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, October 8th, 1821, and came to Canada when nearly eight years old. She was married to Rev. Enoch Detweiler. They resided near Roseville, Ontario, where he died September 18th, 1874. They had a family of ten children.." |
