Notes  George Wildfong, "the original ancestor of the numerous family of this name, was a native of Bohemia, emigrated to America and settled in North Carolina, U.S., as early as 1750 or 1751. He was a pious man and belonged to the society known as Moravians. His family consisted of several children but none of the names were received save that of Jacob and Mary who was married to Andrew Sararas."
