Notes  Rudolph Bechtel "second son of George B. and Mary (Shoemaker) Bechtel, was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, October 29th, 1819. He was married to Magdalena, daughter of John and Martha (Saltzburger) Jones. She was born August 16th, 1821, and had her home with her daughter Lovina (Mrs. Adam Doerr) in Wilmot Township, where she died June 5th, 1886. Soon after their marriage they moved on their farm, being composed of lot No. 9, block B, Wilmot Township, about two and one-half miles north-west of St. Agatha. Here they resided until his death which took place July 2nd, 1862. They had a family of eleven children, viz:"
