Notes  Daniel Lutz, "was born in Waterloo County, Ontario, April 9th, 1838. On April 9th, 1856, he was married to Leah, daughter of David and Leah (Bowman) Snyder. She was born at Freeport, Ontario, December 8th, 1833. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Blenheim Township, Ontario, where he was engaged in farming until 1876 when he sold out and moved near Caledonia, Kent County, Michigan, where they now reside. To them was born a large family, viz:"
